n an news release that will have Halo fans jumping for joy and grabbing their battle-rifles, Bungie Studios announced that Project Natal and ‘Halo: Reach’, the highly anticipated Halo prequel, could be compatible.
In a surprise interview with the Seattle Times, Bungie representatives admitted to having an early look at Project Natal, and was very impressed with its capabilities and the potential of the controller-less system.
Bungie Studios President Harold Ryan said, “I absolutely think ‘Reach’ could be enabled with it.”
Project Natal is the codename for a system which allows players to interact with the Xbox 360 through motion-sensor technology, facial expressions and gestures without the use of a controller. It was unveiled at this year’s E3 Expo.
Little is known about the upcoming ‘Halo: Reach’ aside from that its release is anticipated for Fall of 2010.
